🎨 Upcoming Art Workshops in Austin | Cherrywood Treehouse Art Studio
We are thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of upcoming workshops at Cherrywood Treehouse Art Studio in East Austin! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just beginning your creative journey, our diverse classes offer something for everyone.
Open Studio on Mondays
Every other Monday, we host an Open Studio session welcoming all skill levels. For $45 per person, participants have access to supplies and can choose from acrylic painting, watercolor, or drawing. These sessions are a fantastic opportunity to tap into your creative side, enjoy music, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. Each session includes art supplies and options with instructions for a guided experience.
Acrylic Pouring & Gold Leaf Workshop
Date & Time: Friday, March 21, 2025, at 7:00 PM
Cost: $120 per person
In this hands-on class, you'll create a mesmerizing abstract masterpiece using fluid acrylic pouring and gold leaf accents. Explore color blending, pouring techniques, and add metallic shimmer for a stunning effect. No prior experience is needed—just come ready to pour, swirl, and shine! All materials are included, along with a communal charcuterie spread and wine.

We’ll guide with your color scheme - whether it’s for a particular spot in your house, or just for fun!
Bad Bunny xx Creative Session
Date & Time: Friday, April 25, 2025, at 7:30 PM
Music fuels creativity, and at this paint night, we're immersing ourselves in the rhythms of Bad Bunny while exploring the bold, colorful world of Puerto Rican art. Whether you're a seasoned painter or just here for the vibes, this night is all about expression, connection, and enjoying some wine and charcuterie to set the mood. All materials are included.
We’ll have a charcuterie spread with wine!
Summer Art Camps
We're hosting two art camps this summer at the Treehouse! These camps are designed to nurture your young artist's creativity in a supportive environment.
Art Camp Session 1: May 27th - May 30th, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Half Day, Tuesday to Friday)
Art Camp Session 2: June 2nd - June 6th, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Full Week, Monday to Friday)
Please visit our Art Camp section on the website for all the details. We can't wait to create with your young artist! Class sizes are no more than 10 kids. Parents are welcome to stay and pop in at anytime.
Age ranges
The camps are for 4th - 6th graders, but if your kiddo is a little outside of that age range we can make an exception!
