Teaching Philosophy
Our goal is to expose kids to different art mediums, help them grow comfortable with their own style, enjoy the creative process, and tap into their imagination. Lessons include instruction with room for creative freedom.
Art Projects
We explore a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, and mixed media.
Location
Cherrywood Treehouse Art Studio is located at 2802 Lafayette Avenue B, Austin, TX 78722. The studio is in the back house of Unit A. If you'd like to visit before signing up, reach out to Rachel to schedule a tour.
Dropping In
Parents handling drop-off and pick-up are welcome to stop in during camp week to see what we’re creating.

Hi, I’m Rachel!
I’m the person behind Cherrywood Treehouse Art Studio! I know families have many options for how to spend their kids’ time, especially during summer. My passion is helping kids feel comfortable being themselves, trust their creativity, and build confidence through art.
I keep camps intentionally small so they stay fun, engaging, and personal. We create a wide variety of projects throughout the week, along with improv-style brain break games the kids love.
